Leadership development for corporate, nonprofit, and educational leaders.

We try not to use the word "transformative" lightly, but...

About Us

“The Talk Sense training changed me. Every leader and aspiring leader should take this course. It’s transformational and insightful. Those around you will appreciate the difference and you’ll walk away with a widened perspective.”

Brenda Hernandez, Senior Information Security & Authentications Manager

“I feel like I just discovered fire! The Talk Sense seminar has helped me tremendously. I feel that I have the tools that I need to understand and be better understood and it has really been instrumental to my growth in and out of work.” Renato Garcia, Executive Director of Software Engineering

“I want to thank you for helping to make our professional development make "sense." This is really the first time in my 28 years of education that I have had such focused and purposeful professional development.”

Leslie Romero-Kilmer, Principal, Santa Fe High School

“The Talk Sense training is game changing.  I've found application across my personal, professional, and civic leadership responsibilities.  Using these methods, my daughter is opening up more, I have less trepidation broaching sensitive topics with colleagues, and I am able to work more effectively with people with whom I have diverging viewpoints.  I highly recommend this to anyone who ever has to speak to another person, which is all of us.”

TALK SENSE TRAINING

Taught at Harvard for over 25 years, this is the most effective set of strategies for helping leaders improve their communication and decision making. Participants learn to give and receive feedback more effectively and remain centered when working to solve complex problems—even emotionally-charged problems related to implicit bias or staff performance. This is transformational training for corporate, nonprofit, and educational leaders.

EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP

There are few things more stressful in our society than running schools and school systems. There is constant pressure to improve performance while dealing with every social, emotional, and intellectual challenge imaginable. In addition to helping leaders provide and receive feedback, communicate in high-stress situations, and engage in better decision making and problem solving, we help school and district leaders deepen student learning and address serious climate and safety challenges.
